You WILL get Viruses and Spyware on your PC if your PC is connected to the Internet. Sometimes you don't even know you have it. Sometimes they are just annoying  with pop ups and junk mail. Sometimes it does great damage like lose of data or Operating system. Sometimes you dont even know they are there. These are usually the worst ones. These are often the ones that sweep your computer for personal data. Information is often sent back to a server some where on the internet and then these data thieves go thru it looking for info such as credit card numbers and secure passwords for bank accounts and such.  Computer Medics will remove any viruses and or spyware from your PC*. When we do this we also remove junk files, ie temp files cookies, etc.. We will also make recommendation for helping speed up your computer. We will also help inform you how to avoid and remove these common problems in the future.

 Computer Medics knows that new Viruses and Spyware come out all the time. Sometimes it takes hours to remove these applications. It is often our practice to not do spyware and virus removal onsite. By dealing with these issues off-site we can help control the cost to the customer. We charge no less then 1 hour service rate for removal and for more complicated issues we charge no more then 2 hours labor. Scanning your files for these problems takes hours but we only charge for the actual work that we do on your PC.

In the case that there has been too much damage to your operating system we will backup any data you have and save it to a CD or DVD rom. We will reload the operating system when possible.

    * Although we can remove all viruses and spyware we may not always be able to reverse some of the damage caused by these applications.
